Golden Temple Part 2

These are not the pots of hell. They are used to cook a hundred thousand free meals each day at the Golden Temple. Just another staggering fact of the Golden Temple. These meals are donated by the Sikh people. The pilgrims prepare every meal.

Everything here is on a huge scale. This is part of the assembly line that makes the Rotis. They make on average three hundred thousand Rotis a day. Everybody gets served on a plate and all these plates have to be cleaned and prepared for the meals.

This is the man that hands out the plates. He screens the people for safety reasons. The orange Turban is a sign of his rank in the religion.
