Cape Town Surfer

I sat on the beach watching the sunset when I saw this surfer strolling up with her surfboard. She stopped right in from of me.  I thought this is my lucky day. I was going to get great surfing images in perfect light.

Was I wrong? She just stood there and stared into the distance. No emotion or any plans to go out and surf. Fortunately I managed to get a few really good sunset images that I hadn’t planned on.

I was wondering if I got a surfboard and stood in the water like that, would that make me a surfer?
